02
The Community Orchard
GRGC was awarded £2100 from the Kings Coronation Living Heritage Fund - Community Orchards by Breckland District Council.
Various fruit trees were planted by members of the community. We held a separate planting event for young people in the village to plant and learn about fruit trees and their importance to the bio-diversity of the recreation ground.
A second wave of planting is due in Autumn 25 - look out if you want to get involved!

A thriving orchard is cared for and watered by a group of volunteers from around the village.
